Registration Process
Once the full details of a workshop are established by the Executive Committee, guild members will receive notice by email that the workshop is open for registration.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
Registrations will be submitted through the workshop registration form on the Guild website.
Payment can be done via e-transfer to calligraphymanitoba@gmail.com. If paying by cheque, please mention that in your registration form and we will provide a mailing address. Cheques must be deposited prior to the scheduled date of the workshop.
Registrations will be accepted and processed in the order that they are received. A student is not considered registered until payment for the class is received.
The Guild reserves the right to give priority to guild members in the event of limited classroom space or popularity of a course. When it is indicated on the website that priority will be given to guild members, registration will open to guild members first. If spots are still available, registration will then be opened to the public.
Applicants will receive an email confirmation from the Guild that payment has been received and their placement/spot in the workshop is secured.
Refund Policy
The Guild determines the minimum and maximum number of participants at a workshop based upon the financial viability of the workshop, the instructor’s request, and the facility’s space capacity. If a minimum number of students is not registered, the course may be cancelled.
If a workshop is cancelled or postponed a full refund will be made.
Refunds will be issued if a student cancels their registration 8 business days or more prior to the course date minus the e-transfer transaction fee.
No refunds will be made if a student cancels their registration less than 8 business days prior to the course date.
Cancellations (made by students) due to emergencies will be handled at the discretion of the Guild Executive.
Privacy
Personal data will not be shared, traded or sold to any third parties.
